No. Closeboard is built board by board on site — overlapping feather-edge boards on horizontal arris rails — so it’s stronger and follows your ground.
What’s included as standard?
A gravel board and a capping rail come as standard, to keep the timber off the ground and give a premium, longer-lasting finish.
Can it be repaired if a board breaks?
Yes — because it’s built board by board, individual boards can be replaced rather than swapping out a whole panel.
Do you take the old fence away?
Yes. We remove the old fence and all the offcuts and leave the site “ridiculously tidy”, in our customers’ own words.
